Mobile app
The Project
A smart app that analyzes your selfie in real time and gives instant tips on lighting, angle, and composition, helping people feel more confident and capture their best moments with ease.
The Problem
There are many photo and editing apps, but none that guide users in real time on how to take the best selfie for them (angle, lighting, height, and more).
The Solution
A mobile app that scans the user's face on first login and learns their features. Each time the user opens the app, it provides real-time on-screen guidance to help capture the perfect selfie, with an option to save and share instantly.
User Research
In order to understand the problem, and the users needs I conducted a survey using "Google Forms" and had 42 selfie lovers answer it. Here are some of the data:

22.1%
take selfies because it makes them feel better about themselve
50.7%
Feel like they don't take selfies well enough
76.8%
Take selfies with the phone's camera and would like more features

User Testing & Impact
To evaluate the concept early, I created an interactive prototype and invited users to test the real-time selfie guidance. The goal was to understand whether the idea delivers value and how users react to the experience.
50%
50% said they would recommend the concept to a friend after experiencing the prototype.
65%
discovered a clearer “best angle” thanks to the real-time tips during testing
of participants felt more confident taking selfies after using the guided prototype.
75%
The results strongly validated the concept: users felt more confident, discovered their best angle faster, and expressed clear interest in the product after a single session.
Future Features
